Dance the Weekend Away at Electric Daisy Carnival
Ignite your senses and inspire your imagination under the Electric Sky at EDC Orlando from November 8 to 10! Electric Daisy Carnival, also known as EDC, is one of the biggest electronic dance music (EDM) festivals in the world. The flagship event takes place in Las Vegas, but Orlando has hosted an East Coast edition since 2011.
Every EDC Orlando brings incredible live dance music, and 2024 will be no exception! Tinker Field in the heart of Orlando will transform into a carnival of sound and color as we welcome an incredible lineup of the world’s top EDM musicians. In fact, more than 100 artists will be playing over the course of the weekend, including icons of the genre like Diplo, Zeds Dead, and Tiësto. The best part of all? This year, Hotel Landy is offering a special EDC deal to help you take advantage of one of Orlando’s most exciting events and get that VIP feeling.

Rock Out at Hard Rock Live Orlando
When you think of some of the legendary names in music history, Hard Rock has to be among them. This global brand is dedicated to the history and legacy of rock and roll music. While you can spot fans around the world sporting their iconic logo, Orlando is home to one of Hard Rock’s liveliest outposts. Hard Rock Live Orlando, sometimes called Orlando’s “Coliseum of Rock,” lives up to that nickname with a one-of-a-kind concert atmosphere complete with iconic archways and columns and a large capacity of up to 3,000 guests.
Many of the shows include balcony table seating and VIP experiences so that you can enjoy an extra-special evening of live performances. And the live events here are fantastically diverse. There are rock shows, of course, but also comedy, Latin, and much more. Whatever groove you’re following, you’ll find a live show here for it. Located at Universal Orlando® Resort, it’s just a 10-minute drive from Hotel Landy, right on Universal Blvd, with plenty of parking available.
Head to the House of Blues
Located at Disney Springs, just a 15-minute ride from Hotel Landy, House of Blues is another renowned name in the world of live music. This restaurant and bar cooks up Southern favorites like jambalaya, hot chicken, BBQ, shrimp and grits, along with live entertainment and rock and roll–inspired cocktails like the Beast of Bourbon, Strawberry Fields, and Hound Dog Mule. Fun is always on the menu here, with happy hours from Monday through Thursday and delicious milkshakes.
The Music Hall is where you’ll find the larger shows at House of Blues Orlando. This standing-room-only venue offers VIP packages and tables for some events. Take a peek at their event calendar to get a sense of the diversity of their concerts, which include country and folk, hip-hop and soul, rock, pop, electronic, jazz, blues, and electronic.
See Iconic Performances at ICON Park
ICON Park is one of Orlando’s best destinations for fun. It’s a lively and inviting complex of restaurants, shops, and The Wheel, a 400-foot-tall observation wheel providing stunning views. It’s also a great place to go in search of live music.
Tin Roof Orlando, located in ICON Park, bills itself quite simply as “A Live Music Joint,” and it lives up to its promise with awesome musicians hitting the stage day and night! Featuring a Green Room and a Main Stage, each side of Tin Roof has its own stage, bar, and patio, so you can check out both and see which one has the music you’re craving. Food and drink are also a huge draw here — explore their menu of bar classics like wings, burgers, and quesadillas, all designed to be paired perfectly with delightfully diverse craft beer, cocktails, margaritas, shooters, and more!
In more of a country kind of mood? Head to Blake Shelton’s Ole Red in ICON Park. With honky tonk drinks and fabulous live music, this “countryfied” bar is the ideal spot to kick back and listen to performances that will get your feet tapping. When it comes to tasty eats, the menu is packed with such bar delights as nachos, pulled pork sandwiches, and burgers — perfect to pair with live music every night of the week.
Hear the Sounds of Downtown Orlando
Downtown Orlando is home to The Block, a seven-venue entertainment complex with something for every kind of party. Live music lovers won’t want to miss the shows taking place at The Beacham. Originally a cinema built in 1921, The Beacham now showcases live music events, from rock and punk to R&B, DJ sets, and much more.
Right next door to The Beacham, you’ll find The Social, another venue with fantastic live music. The difference? It’s a more intimate room to showcase smaller artists than the Beacham’s grander stage. The Block’s website boasts that it features “over 200 International, national, and local touring musicians each year.” So you know whenever you visit, you’ll find some great live music shows to remember. Explore The Block’s calendar to see what shows are coming up.
Live, Local, and Legendary at Will’s Pub
Are you looking for new and up-and-coming music? Will’s Pub is a longtime favorite for Orlando locals in the know. A smaller venue that will get you up close and personal with the performing artists, Will’s Pub is considered by many to be the center of Orlando’s music scene. A true neighborhood gem, the iconic bar has been showcasing musicians for nearly 30 years. Though it moved locations in the 2000s, it has never stopped being a key part of Orlando’s cultural landscape. While the vibe is no-frills, the music delivers thrills — and it’s open till 2 a.m. every night of the week!
